This guide walks you through how to import your wallet, whether during onboarding or after setup, using the Zerion browser extension or mobile app.
Import During Onboarding
Browser Extension (First-Time Setup)
After installing the Zerion extension, the onboarding screen will open automatically.
Click Import Existing Wallet.
Select your import method: Recovery Phrase or Private Key.
Enter your recovery phrase or private key and follow the guided steps.
Mobile App (First-Time Setup)
After installing the app, launch it to start onboarding.
Tap Add Existing Wallet.
Select Import wallet.
Select your import method: Recovery Phrase or Private Key.
Enter your recovery phrase or private key and follow the guided steps.
Import After Setup
Browser Extension (Add Wallet Post-Onboarding)
Click the wallet address selector at the top of the extension.
Click Add Wallet.
Choose one of the following options:
Create New Wallet – Generate a new wallet address using your existing recovery phrase (within the same wallet group) or start fresh with a new one.
Add Existing Wallet – You can:
Import using a recovery phrase or private key
Connect a Ledger device
Add a watch-only address
Mobile App (Add Wallet Post-Onboarding)
Tap the ➕ icon next to My Wallets.
Tap Add Wallet.
Choose one of the following options:
Create New Wallet – Generate a new wallet address using your existing recovery phrase (within the same wallet group) or start fresh with a new one.
Add Existing Wallet – You can:
Import using a recovery phrase or private key
Restore from cloud backup
Connect a Ledger device
